Julia Fiona Roberts born to Betty Lou Bredemus (mother) and Walter Grady Roberts on October 28 in 1967. She comes from the fourth Roberts family who been a resident of Atlanta. This began with her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts who was farmer. Early on, her father became interested in theater. He was a part of his Emory University campus in 1952 as well as in various productions that were staged around Atlanta. After joining the airforce and appearing in an airforce production in Biloxi together with Betty Lou Bredemus. They got married in 2005, and welcomed their first child, Eric Anthony in 1956. Walter was an undergraduate at Tulane University, New Orleans Louisiana. In the year 1957, they were discharged from the air force and Walter began studying at Tulane University. Walter began working for Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. Walter and Betty Lou started production in 1964 on the local Saturday morning children's show on television called Bum Bum and His Buddies, which they funded themselves. They also founded the Actors and Writers Workshop in the year 1964, and it ran for six years. They had Lelisa Billingsley (also known as Lisa) as well as Julia (also also known as Julie) in this time.
