Julia Fiona Roberts born to Betty Lou Bredemus (mother) and Walter Grady Roberts on October 28 the 28th of October, 1967. Roberts is the fourth Roberts generation that has lived in Atlanta from her grandfather who was a farmer, John Pendleton Roberts. Her father's passion for theatre was inherited by her. in theater from a young time. As a student of Emory University, he performed on stage in a number of shows in Atlanta. When he joined the Air Force In 1953, he starred in an airforce production in Biloxi along with Betty Lou Bredemus. Eric Anthony was their first born. They got married in 1957. Walter as well as his spouse left the military in, when they enrolled Walter as a student at Tulane University. In 1960, the family relocated from Louisiana to Decatur Georgia where Walter began working for Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. In 1964 Walter and Betty Lou began production on the local Saturday morning children's television show named Bum Bum and His Buddies that they funded their own. They also founded the six-year Actors and Writers Workshop later the same year. Lelisa Billingsley, also known as Lisa, was born in 1965. Julia Billingsley followed in 1967.
