Amber Benson bio

Amber Benson, an American producer and singer, is also a songwriter. She is best known for her character Tara Maclay on the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and was also the director and starred in her own films Chance and Lovers Liars & Lunatics. In addition, she appeared part of the film Kiss the Bride. Benson was born to a psychiatrist and an artist named Diane Benson was born in Birmingham Alabama on January 8, 1977. Danielle Benson was her artistic younger sister. Benson was raised in the Reform synagogue in the name of the Reform Jewish mother as well as her Jewish father.
