A.J. Cook is known best as an actress from Canada. Canadian actor for her roles as a character in The Virgin Suicides (1998) and Final Destination 2(2003). She also played Jennifer "JJ" Jareau on the show Criminal Minds. Cook's television credits are Dead Like Me (also known as Tru Calling), Higher Ground, Bluemoon and PSI Factor. She was raised as a Mormon or participant in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and only does roles that are not against her belief and the teachings that are taught by the Mormon Church. Her dance, tap and jazz classes while a small child. When she reached 17 that she got into acting. She had competed in numerous dance competitions. Dirty Dancing with Patrick Swayze inspired her to be an actor. Cook, who met Nathan Andersen while taking a film course on Utah Valley University in the summer of 2001, married the actor. Mekhai Allan Andersen is the Andersen's son. The baby was born in the month of September 2008. She currently resides in Los Angeles
